| Other Info | Melbourne is officially recognised as Australia’s musical capital, so it makes perfect sense to have a night that’s dedicated to great songwriting and celebrating great local songwriters, just as they do at places like The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. And thanks to The Old Bar, we now have an ideal venue for it. From Monday 26 November, Unpaved will present two rounds of three singer-songwriters in The Bluebird Cafe style with a suitable break for socialising and drinks in the middle. Each week will include a featured artist like Van Walker, Liz Stringer, Charles Jenkins or Tracy McNeil plus special guests. For a mere $7 you’ll be treated to six original songwriters in an intimate setting where the emphasis is on listening, appreciation and inspiration. |
